Our in-house team of accredited and experienced Ecologists provide a full range of ecological services, from preliminary ecological appraisals through to impact assessments, licence applications, mitigation and monitoring, that can support your project, from initial concept to completion.

Our specialists understand protected species legislation and are aware of the financial and timing impacts this can have on your project. If you are planning a scheme that may be affected by a protected species, we can help.

We often work with our clients at an early stage of a project, which benefits the working partnership.

We can assist with the design and specification of ecological mitigation measures to ensure that they are viable and practical, provide accurate cost models for budgeting and create programmes for critical path planning on a project. In short, we can give customers an early indication of the financial or timing impact of ecology and proactively reduce the risk.

Preliminary Ecological Appraisal & Mitigation

Through ecological appraisal, costly and timely setbacks can be avoided further down the line on site.

The ecological appraisal can identify:

  • Any areas of concern from an ecological standpoint
  • The likely impact of a site's biodiversity
  • The need for surveys on a seasonal dependant basis

We can assist with the design and specifications of ecological mitigation measures to ensure that they are viable and practical, provide accurate cost models for budgeting and create programmes for critical path planning on a project. In short, we can provide customers with an easy indication of the financial or timing impact of ecology and proactively reduce the risk.

By determining the content and extent of the environmental responsibilities on-site, if any, site development can be approached with due care and consideration.

DEVELOPERS ARE, BY LAW, REQUIRED TO INVESTIGATE AND ECOLOGICAL ISSUE WITH A SITE

Certain laws and litigation can cause issues later on in a project if not identified early on.

Our Ecologists and Site Teams can establish and key considerations early on in a project so that developments can go ahead, working on time and to a schedule that has already established environmental concerns.
